Regina set for a big development
The plan includes a commercial centre, industrial park, and the relocated Pacer Park baseball diamonds. It might have a new high school as well. The idea is to fill in 690 hectares between Victoria Avenue and Arcola Avenue, and Woodland Grove Drive and the city’s eastern boundary, with 17,500 people.
Regina intends to sell the land for $2,173,200. Capital Crossing will then be responsible for extending Big Bear Boulevard to meet up with the extension of Argyle Street North.
In return, the city will contribute $1,786,600 to the roadway work and servicing of the land.
