I do not want to say that my Tibular Plateau Fracture was a good thing but one thing that was abundantly clear is that I have a great life. A life with passion. I remember sitting there curled up in a little ball, remembering the amazing life I have and determined to get back to it. I have spent a long time in my life living without passion and once I found my joy in life doing social media, caring for dogs and cooking my life began.
And I recommend that to anyone. Do not wait till you retire to do what you love. Even if you do not make money from it. It never made sense to me to work 40+hrs a week 50 or more weeks a year for 30+ years just so that the 20 years maybe you are retired you can enjoy life. Enjoy life now. To me passion is dogs, Marketing, cooking and trying new things. I am so lucky to have a job I love, and I know not many have. And beleive me when I laid in that hospital bed I just knew whatever it took I was getting back a life of passion.
What is your passion? Do you come home from work every day and just sit on the couch waiting for bed? Or do you do something that makes you feel alive? Do something that fills you up every day. Do not wait for the weekend or worse till you retire.
